Struggling After MOG and Car Accident
Donation protected
When it rains, it pours… I was diagnosed with MOG a while back. This condition presents as a stroke, and I am still not able to walk because of this. It puts lesions on your brainstem. I have been in U of M in Ann Arbor for six months. I have had five plasma exchanges and two chemo infusions. It is all catching up on us.
We had a car accident this past Monday. This has been a setback in my recovery for my MOG. We could use some help with the cost of ambulance rides, and now we have no vehicle either. My wife, Lisa Smith, was injured also in the crash. She had a bleed in her brain and spent 2 nights in trauma ICU.
