Help Me Heal: Chainsaw Accident Recovery

On march 7th, 2025 i was involved in a major acciden. I was cutting a big oak tree when the chainsaw kicked back and cut my left foot. I'm so grateful EMT arrived within minutes. Any longer, they told me they were going to life flight me due to the severity of my injuries.

I took an ambulance ride to the Ocala, FL trauma center, and that is where I resided for about a week. I currently do not have insurance, so this is a major toll on me physically, emotionally , as well as financially. I have a long road ahead of me. My injury was so bad they were unable to proceed with surgery. I was put on a wound vac I'm hopes of helping my wound close enough to be able to fix it with surgery. I have to go to ocala ( which is an hour away) three times a week to get my wound vac changed , and so the Doctors can see how I am healing. My last appointment I had mentioned I had no feeling in my foot . They told me that was not a good thing , and that I would need to have an extensive surgery to repair tendons and nerves as well as a skin graft. I was told there is no guarantee everything will be successful , and there Is a chance i may never have full functionality in my foot. That being said I'm not sure what my future will hold but I do know I will remain optimistic and hopeful that everything goes good.

I don't like to ask for help, but not being able to work as well as having no insurance I am struggling to make ends meet. I appreciate you taking the time to read my story. If you can't donate all that I ask is you please share this post and keep me in your prayers .

So, I am asking for anyone's help to give a helping hand as these medical bills keep piling up and I am forced to be on crutches and in a wheelchair because I cannot put any weight on that foot. Anything would help me tremendously. I am stuck not being able to work and it is not fun at all. Please help if you can get me through surgery and have a speedy recovery as I can't handle all these bills and everyday life's expenses when I am disabled.
