STRS Basketball

Basketball at STRS is continuing to grow in both popularity and success. In the 2023/4 Season we entered the schools national cup at U14, U16 and U19 as we well as the regional jnr NBA competition for U12 and U13. The U12 team particularly shone, winning 12 of their 13 games all season and winning the West Midlands jnr NBA competition.

To enable our Basketball Programme to advance to the next level and with the (optimistic) aim of ultimately having success in National Schools competitions we are fundraising for some specialist basketball equipment, first and foremost an automatic rebounding and passing machine.

This gofundme page is largely being used as a convenient means for sponsors to pay their pledged money from our sponsored shooting competition, however, other donations are also very welcome!
