As many of you are aware, the Butte County Camp Fire has created devastating loss for so many families. With heavy hearts, we ask you to help us give direct support to our cousin, Michael Stroud, his wife, Trisha and their three children Alec, Shelby and Lillian, who have suffered the complete loss of their home and all belongings.

As I write this, today is Veteran's Day. We always think of Mike on this day and the service he has given to our country, but it's especially heartbreaking to see him and his family endure this loss after already having sacrificed so much. Michael served one tour in Afghanistan, and two tours in Iraq as a US Army Sargent.

We are amazed with the sense of community and outpouring of love from family and friends, and hope that this small act on our part will make a huge impact on their lives moving forward. They are now faced with rebuilding their lives from ground up, which will include finding a place to live, furnishings, housewares, basic essentials, school supplies, and so much more. As you can imagine, this will be quite costly.
