Stronger with you, help Maria fight cancer

Hello Everyone,
Our dear friend Stephanie has recently received news that her mother Maria has been diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse large B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is considered a fast growing type of blood cancer. Maria started with persistent right upper back pain after a fall. She went to the doctor for further examination and a CT scan revealed a mass with a pathological rib fracture. They did a a biopsy which then showed cancerous abnormal cells. Maria has started an aggressive chemotherapy treatment called DA-EPOCH-R to help her fight this specific type of cancer. Her first round of chemotherapy started on February 11 and her treatment plan will include a total of 6 rounds of chemotherapy 3 weeks apart. We are hopeful that this treatment plan will help shrink the tumor and ultimately put her in remission.
Maria is a devoted, loving, and hardworking mother with a heart of gold . She is extremely strong in her faith and doing everything possible to get well. She currently lives in her native country of Nicaragua and is receiving treatment there. For those of you that know Stephanie, she is a selfless, kind, and caring person . Stephanie is an only child and has taken time off of work as a registered nurse to be with her mom during her treatment. Stephanie dedicates her work to helping others and we as her friends and family are asking for help on her behalf for support and donations. All donations will be given to Stephanie and her mother to aid with current and future medical expenses. Unfortunately, most of the costs for her treatments and hospital stays are out of pocket. Any help that can be given during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. Stephanie and her mother are strong in their faith and are remaining positive. We thank you all for your love, support, and prayers during this time of need. We will be posting updates as her treatments progress.
