Hi everyone, my name is Ally, and I was born and raised in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Although I now live in New York, Jamaica will always be home — it’s where my roots are, where my heart is, and where so many of my loved ones still live.
Like so many of you, I’ve been heartbroken watching the devastation left behind by Hurricane Melissa. The western region of Jamaica, especially St. Elizabeth and surrounding areas, has been hit hard. Homes have been destroyed, communities are flooded, and families are left struggling without the basic necessities of life — food, water, and shelter.
I can’t just sit by and watch. I want to do my part to help my people back home get through this. I’m raising funds to provide relief aid — essentials like food, clean drinking water, clothing, and hygiene items — to families and communities in need. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping those affected rebuild and recover.
Jamaica has always been a place of love, strength, and community. Now more than ever, our people need that love returned to them.
If you can donate, share, or simply send prayers — it all helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting this cause and standing with Jamaica.
