Stronger Together: Cindy's Cancer Journey

Hello! My name is Jen Drummond – little sister to Cindy Hrutka.

Cindy recently turned 47, and is a devoted wife and mother to two beautiful young daughters. In March, she received a cancer diagnosis after nearly a year of unexplained symptoms. For the past five weeks, she has been undergoing an aggressive treatment plan, including both chemotherapy and radiation. If the treatments are successful, she will require surgery to remove her tumor. We hope to get results ASAP.

This journey has been incredibly challenging for her and her family, both emotionally, physically and financially. As a self-employed professional, she has not been able to work since March and does not qualify for unemployment benefits. To make matters more difficult, her husband lost his job three weeks ago, placing an even greater strain on their household.

We are rallying support through a GoFundMe, a 50/50, and gift baskets – one for him and one for her. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
