Stronger Together: A Fundraiser for Mommy Minia's Recovery

For as long as we can remember, our mother, Herminia Candido, has been the heart of our family, strong, selfless, and unwavering in her love. Born and raised in the Philippines, she has faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage, always putting her family first. But now, after suffering a stroke, it's her turn to be cared for and supported by those who love her most.

On May 3rd, 2025, life threw her another unexpected battle. A stroke, her second since 2010, sent her to a hospital in the Philippines, where she fought through three days in the ICU before being moved to a regular room. For the past nine days, she has remained there, determined to recover, holding on to the same strength that has defined her for years. Her doctors estimate that her treatment will continue for another three to four weeks, a necessary journey toward healing, but one that comes at a great financial burden.

Despite the hardships, our family stands united, holding onto hope and each other. We know that our mom has always given everything for us, and now it’s our turn to fight for her.

Today, we are reaching out, asking for help from kind hearts willing to contribute toward my mom’s recovery. Every gesture of support, whether big or small, is a lifeline, an opportunity to ensure that this remarkable woman gets the care she deserves.
