Cameron is one of those people you meet and never forget. A strong, healthy, fit young man who has always taken pride in looking after his body and mind, Cam lives life with determination, positivity, and an infectious sense of humour. He is the life of every party, the first to crack a joke, the loudest laugh and voice in the room, and always there to start a conversation with anyone. Whether it was golf on a Sunday, a game of cricket, chasing his kids around the park or doing science experiments with them in the backyard, Cameron brings energy and heart to everything.

Just weeks ago, Cam was suddenly and shockingly diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. In true Cam fashion, he met this devastating news with courage, grit, and unwavering strength. He never gave up hope, remaining fiercely determined and positive. Tragically, despite his resilience and will to live, Cam passed away far too soon. It was a heartbreaking and multiple avoidable system failures that took him from us before his time a loss that should never have happened.

He leaves behind his beautiful wife Olivia, their two young children, and a precious soon to come baby. Though Cam would never ask for anything, he is a fighter and a provider at his core. His deepest wish would be for his wife and babies to be supported and cared for in the years to come. This GoFundMe will continue in Cameron’s honour – to support Liv and the kids as they face a complete different future than the one they imagined. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help ease the financial pressure on his young family and allow them to focus on healing and holding onto the love he pours into their lives.

Cam always showed up for everyone around him his kids, his nieces and nephews, his mates, his family. Always the first to lend a hand, never expects anything in return, and brings light even to the darkest days. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
