The cause of Macie's stroke is still unknown.
At UC Davis Macie made great progress in daily physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to regain function of her body. Due to hospital restrictions during COVID-19, Macie was only allowed to have her mom and dad visit her in the hospital and was separated from her three brothers, cousins, grandparents, and many friends. Macie was discharged from the hospital on June 24th and her family is thrilled to have her home again.
Through it all, Macie and her family have shown incredible faith, strength, and resilience. With a lengthy hospital stay and the uncertainty that comes with a life-changing medical episode, the cause of which is still unknown, many treatments and expenses lie ahead of the Floyd family. We know there are many that love this family and are looking for ways to help.
All donations will support Macie and her family as they navigate these challenging circumstances.
Thank you for any donation, large or small!
*** Because the cause of Macie's stroke still remains unknown, we are working to provide the Floyds with as many resources as possible. If there is anyone aware of a pediatric stroke survivor, stroke specialists, or treatments, please reach out to us. Thank you so much. ***
