Alright friends. I have an awesome opportunity to be apart of a program called The Strong Coach. This mentor ship program is lead by none other then thee Mike Bledsoe. If you arent sure who he is some of his accomplishments are: being owner of CrossFit Memphis, being involved with the Barbell Shrugged and Barbell business podcast, the Bledsoe Show podcast, the Strong Coach program and more. He really is a knowledgeable man that prioritizes spiritual, mental, and physical health. If you are curious look him up this really is something special I get to be apart of.
I have always loved moving since being a kid (climbing trees, riding bikes around neighborhoods etc.) but growing up in Butte Montana team sports really turned me off for multiple reasons. But, in 2012 I started CrossFit in Butte and loved it. At that time I wasnt sure why at the time but now almost 8 years later I now know why I love it. It builds athletes. For this first time in my life, after not having any success in team sports, I found something that I both loved while growing my love for lifting weights in a new way.
After having this love for the sport I started coaching friends in the Olympic lifts. It was exciting to clearly explain something and see someone "click" with movement. This was my first taste of my love for coaching people and here I am coaching some of you and hoping to coach those of you I dont work with ;).
Anyway, this brings me to now at my job as a coach in a CrossFit gym that I love dearly. But, there is a pressure to be able to pursue the goals of being a father one day and my marriage comes first. So, I figured I need to get a "real" job and gave up on my dreams of coaching full time. As many of you know I have looked around and applied different places. But in this process I have decided to go and try my hand at fitness as my career path.
This is the awesome part and why this gofundme is here. The Strong Coach has many different aspects. But what I will get out of it is a way to build a SUSTAINABLE business with mentor ship that goes above and beyond for what I need. And my goal is by the end of the 90 days to be coaching full time and be able to see financial stability as well in a career that I love. I am in class 8 of this program and the success that students see in it is amazing. Basically you would need to try to fail to not do well (although I will work as hard as humanly possible).
So here is my need. The total goal is $6000 this will be due July 15th.
This goal includes the mentor ship program as well as a Strong Coach summit happening in California August 14th-16th. This summit includes some "big guns in the industry who are killing it with online coaching, marketing, and business systems to support coaches." Would you be consider give $50, $100, $500, or whatever amount you feel lead to give?
To those of you whom I am connected to I am so grateful for your belief in me and desire to be the best coach I can be to you. And those of you I don't know I hope that when you read this you see a love for a sport and a goal to change peoples lives.
