Prayers and Support for Kim and Family

Update - Alright guys! This is a great update to share! Kim is safely home in her room at Amanda’s and enjoying Easter with her family. They are soon having a chair lift installed in the garage so she can get in and out of the home without superhero Michael lifting her each time. This will cost between $3k - $5k. They are still working on other accessibility items as well! Bathroom, pain management, you name it. Even private care is required due to

medical shortages so every bit helps! Thanks again to everyone who has sent thoughts or money. It is all appreciated so much!

Update - Kim is still in hospital with the family thing to work out care in the Ottawa area. Unfortunately, the requests for

care (PSWs, etc) have been denied at this time so she is unable to leave the hospital.

Amanda and family are consistently working on setting up her care needs in Amanda’s home (chair lift, wheelchair ramp, etc) and this all costs exorbitant amounts of money as we can all imagine. Thank you to everyone that has contributed to this point.

Kim is still unable to use her right side, speak or walk. Pain management is expensive as well.

Hello, my name is Kylie and Kim has been an instrumental part of my life for a long time. Kim has always tried to do what’s best for her children and people around her. She is a crazy and selfless human being.

Unfortunately in Oct 2023 she suffered from multiple strokes leaving her permanently paralyzed on her right side and without speech. Fortunately, Kim is still here with us and giving us all hell.

Now, after several months of recovery and surgery, she will need to live with her daughter Amanda for her care needs.

During this terrible time, family and community have rallied without question. Unfortunately, she still has a huge fight ahead of her.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated and absolutely not expected. Thank you for reading this far.
