Stroke Survivor needing
Donation protected
Hi Everyone.
My name is Brendan, Im 36 years old and I have recently moved to Ballarat.
I have been working full time every day since I was 19, I have been working hard and contributing to my community in many ways.
In November 2022, I was employed with Policelink NSW, responsible for taking the emergency Triple Zero Calls. Tragically, while at work, I suffered an ischemic stroke which has left my right side weak, loss of dexterity and cognitive function and has lead to Hemianopsia in my right eye, causing me to be legally blind in my right eye.
As a result of all of this, I have had to quit my job, and surrendered my driving licence.
Despite trying multiple times, I am unable to secure a job that covers all my bills and I am getting by on remote gig work and the Disability Pension.
My now ex-wife had gone down to part time work, in part to help care for me.
However due to the increase of the Mortgage costs, my lack of work and the never ending medical bills, it became too much and my now Ex Wife and I are getting divorced, forced to sell our home and split up our lives.
This is why I am reaching out for help.
It costs money to move and start a new life, and right now what money I have is tied up in the house, unable to access it until its sold.
We need to cover costs of moving and settling elsewhere, and 30k split between us should handle it.
If I can collect 30k AUD, I can move both our belongings, and renovate the house up to scratch so it can sell. This is my hour of need.
I really hope you contribute just a small amount to help me get my life back on track.
