At the end of April 2017 Nancy suffered a catastrophic stroke and was airlifted to the hospital in Duluth. Nancy spent 7 weeks at St. Mary's, first in the ICU and then in rehab. Since returning home she is continuing outpatient therapy. Nancy is unable to work and her health insurance is close to running out. Nancy is a fighter but she has a long road ahead of her.
