Stroke Recovery Fundraiser for Ronnie Lee
Donation protected
On January 7th, our dad, Ronnie, had a severe stroke that impacted a large portion of his brain. Each day we see signs of physical progress, however the stroke left him with Aphasia which impairs your ability to communicate. It is unclear at this point how much of his ability to communicate will return or when it will return. Given the severity of the stroke and his current abilities, he has also lost his independence and requires someone to be with him at all times. His physical progress has been quite impressive, so we are hopeful he will also regain his communication and independence.
On January 18th, he was able to go home but will continue to do physical, occupational, and speech therapy. As you can imagine this sudden change in lifestyle comes with a lot of adjustment. We would like to help alleviate the financial stresses and allow them to focus on recovery and adjusting to their new normal whatever that may be. Our parents will be overwhelmingly grateful and touched by your generosity and compassion.
Our family has been so appreciative of the love and support from everyone who has reached out. We have all been so touched by every prayer, call, text and offer to help with everyday things have as we go through this new phase of life. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
