Stroke Recovery Fund for Sola's Own Mago

Hey y'all! One of our dearest employees at Sola Coffee in Raleigh, NC,(pictured on the left) who has served faithfully with us for over 8 years suffered a major stroke in early September and spent nearly 3 weeks in Neuro-ICU. Mago's brother, Eddie has been the Sola kitchen manager for coming up on 8 years and the last few weeks working without them has been a hard time for the crew (hence the reason we have been closed on Mondays), but we are so thankful to serve them by allowing them to be present as a family at this hard time. Her family has been the backbone of the Sola kitchen for many years and has been serving up all the Sola goodies y'all know and love.

Thankfully, Mago is recovering and at home. However, a major stroke with weeks in the ICU has put this dear family in a hard place. With hospital and physical therapy bills mounting we want to do all we can as a community to rally behind her and help her get back on her feet as soon as possible! We are so appreciative for this community continually coming together and supporting these fundraising efforts-not only for the 5k but also to care for one of our own!
