Stroke Recovery Fund For Bob Caldwell
Written by Bob’s youngest son Kevin.
Last night my dad Bob Caldwell suffered a stroke at work. After he was rushed to the hospital via ambulance they deduced it was triggered by the immense amount of pressure he is under all the time. Thankfully there is no serious permanent damage but that by no means is to say we are in the clear yet, not by a long shot. Just a week before the stroke happened Bob received notice that he'd be going from 6 days a week down to just 4 which was already going to be a financial burden on the family and now that he'll be out for at least the next few weeks things will be getting even tougher.
Bob is one of the best humans I know and I'm not just saying that because he's my dad. The amount of times he's offered to help someone out whether it be with moving, or donating food or a laundry list of other things. Outside of work Bob enjoys sports, tinkering, playing video games and reading up on militaria. We'd love for him to get back to enjoying those things as soon as possible.
We've set up this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial weight that has been put on us. The funds will be used for medical costs, ongoing therapy to get him back to 100%, prescriptions, lost wages, meals, etc. until Bob is cleared to be back on his feet.
We're incredibly thankful this situation isn't worse than it is and are thankful for each and every one of you who even reads this post. If you aren't able to give financially in this economy, believe me we understand. We just ask that you instead share the post so that as many people as possible can be reached to hear Bob's story.
