Stroke Recovery for Lisa
Donation protected
On Monday, June 3rd Lisa suffered a minor stroke. She has been in the hospital since June 5th and has yet to receive a discharge date.
Lisa is an independent, vibrant woman of only 51 years old. She has spent most of her life caring for others and has owned her own business cleaning houses independently.
The stroke has greatly effected her motor skills and her physical strength. She is unable to walk without assistance and the left side of her body is very weak.
She has undergone multiple tests, physical therapy and speech therapy.
Being self - employeed, Lisa is without insurance and is her own source of income.
There is a facility that can accept her, but costs $3,300 a day. Obviously, this price is far outside of what Lisa can afford.
The recovery facility would give her the extended physical and speech therapy she needs to get back to get normal self.
She would need to stay at this facility for 7-10 days to get the care she needs.
Anyone who knows Lisa, knows that she is very strong willed and is always the one that is the first to help someone out.
She is not one who is quick to ask for help, she is sassy, stubborn, strong willed and a woman filled with love.
We are asking for any donation to help us get our Lisa back.
Our goal could get her into the Inpatient Rehab Facility she needs to go to and would cover the bills that have come from her days here in the hospital.
