On December 12th, I reached one of the proudest milestones of my life—graduating from Physician Assistant school at Morehouse School of Medicine, after years of relentless studying, clinical rotations, sleepless nights, and sacrifice. It was the culmination of a journey driven by my passion to serve others through medicine. Tragically, the very next day, my life changed in an instant. I suffered a stroke, an unexpected and devastating medical emergency that required immediate hospitalization and ongoing care. Instead of celebrating graduation and preparing to begin my career as a PA, I found myself facing serious medical challenges, uncertainty, and a long road to recovery.

Since the stroke, I have incurred significant medical expenses, including hospital bills, diagnostic testing, medications, and now ongoing rehabilitation and therapy needed to regain strength, function, and independence. While I am grateful to be alive and making progress, the financial burden has been overwhelming—especially at a time when I was just transitioning out of school and had not yet begun working.

I am sharing my story with humility and hope. Any contribution will go directly toward my medical and hospital bills, physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy, follow-up care, medications, and recovery-related expenses.
