Stroke of Light for Greg Butts
Donation protected
Hi, everyone. We are a group of friends that have come together to ask those with a charitable heart to support our friend in need. We would like to bring a ‘stroke of light’ into the life of our dear friend, Greg Butts.
For those of you who may not be aware, Greg Butts experienced a massive stroke last year. He has been in and out of the hospital and continues to go through multiples therapies, the most recent being adapting to a device that will assist him in learning how to use his left hand again.
Greg has come a long way in the last 11 months. His goal is to be able to return to work, however, a considerable amount of bills have accumulated, making it difficult for him to focus on his progress and continued health. Greg has limited mobility and is unable to work at this time. His Social Security Disability Insurance, while helpful, barely covers normal living expenses and with the medical bills still coming, it is becoming a bit overwhelming .
We invite you to make a donation, no matter how small or large; it will greatly help Greg in his challenging endeavor to better health and a sustainable quality of life.
In closing, here is a quote that seems to best fit Greg in his current situation, as we all often ponder the difficulties of asking for help… “Ask for help, not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong.” A stroke is one of the most difficult things to recover from, Greg appreciates any ‘stroke of light’ you are willing to give.
