Stroke association sky dive
So you all will know just how personal this charity is to me specifically after my life changing stroke 18 months ago having to relearn to walk and get the use of my arm back, one thing that became hugely apparent during my ongoing recovery is how much of the essential resources are funded purely by charity funds and just how limited the nhs essential recovery resources really are. So me and my sister have decided we want to have a go at raising some funds between us and do a charity skydive my recovery alone could have been a lot longer and not as fulfilled had it not of been for all the extra resources the stroke association provide with there charity funds.
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke, which can leave survivors unable to move, see, speak, or even swallow. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families. It’s only thanks to the generosity of our supporters and donors that we can provide that vital support.
