- On October 29th our farmer friend Bud Strohmer was in a freak tractor accident. His legs were run over. He's been between the hospital and rehab center ever since. Bud and Brenda supply the local community with humanly raised meat, they also have a food truck and are involved in many community programs such as their well known goat yoga. Bud and Brenda also do breakfast with Santa each year and they are one of the food trucks that supply food to the visitors of the light display at cascade lake. But because of Bud's accident they haven't been able to do any of these things in the last 6 weeks. They are full time farmers and they rely on these things for income. They have kept good spirits through all of this, dispite all of their challenges. Because f the accident Bud had to get a rod put in one of his legs, he broke his tibia and fibula between his ankle and knee. He was in rehab for 3 weeks. Bud was recovering wonderfully and then unexpectedly he developed cellulitis in his wrist which caused him to become septic. He is now back in the hospital. Once he gets through this he will return back to rehab to finish his rehabilitation for his legs. I felt compelled to make this fundraiser for them because as a full time farmer like them, I don't know how I would make it financially if I were in their shoes. They still have to buy feed for their many animals and they have bills to pay. I knew they wouldn't want to burden anyone asking for help, so I'm for asking help for them. We are very gratefulif you are able to help financially. Every donation makes a difference and thank you for sharing. Thank you so much and happy holidays.
