Striving for quality in life for Jennifer

Hello friends and family,

As some of you know my daughter Jennifer has been in and out of rehabs all year. This past week she was making good progress, even walked a dozen steps with her walker. We were very excited, but then we were told that her insurance will no longer pay for rehab or therapy. Jennifer needs more therapy to be able to function and do everyday things, like get up out of bed and walk to the bathroom. When she comes home, she will need therapy and nursing so she can continue to get strong. Jennifer has diabetes and gastroparesis, which has been taking over her body, so now she is on a feeding tube 24/7. But Jennifer continues to have her positive attitude and outlook on life. She’s quite an inspiration and one of the bravest souls I’ve ever met. Despite the fact that Jennifer has had several strokes, one that left her blind in her right eye, Jennifer rarely complains and keeps her spirits high. Jennifer had a double bypass open heart surgery that the doctor said she probably wouldn’t make it through and came through with flying colors. She really is an amazing individual. So I am asking for your help that she needs and deserves. We have applied for Medicaid but was told it could take six months to receive. So if you could donate and help Jennifer to move forward with her life, we would greatly appreciate any and all that you could do to help us.
