Stripping the life from Cancer | Terry Jones Fighting for My Health and Family

Hello Everyone,

My name is Terry Jones. I am a Husband, Father, and Electrician from Wayland, Michigan. Today, I am reaching out from the heart to share some personal news regarding my health.

In 2025, I was diagnosed with throat cancer. As a man who prides himself on providing for his family, this was incredibly difficult to accept. In the blink of an eye, my life completely changed. After weeks of searching for answers, I’ve come to realize that life has simply placed a major obstacle in my path—one that I am determined to overcome.

This journey has sharpened my perspective on what truly matters:

Family first and always – Thank you to my wife Natalie for being there every step of the way, taking on all the household and parenting duties while I’m in treatment. Also my 2 ruggies Leo & Eve, you are my motivation daddy loves you.

Time - It costs nothing to have, yet it costs everything if you lose it.

While my cancer is treatable because it was caught in the early stages, the road to recovery is grueling. I am currently undergoing 2–3 months of intensive radiation and chemotherapy. The radiation to my throat is incredibly painful; it destroys the cells and tissue in my mouth, leaving me unable to eat or swallow anything ,forcing me to have a feeding tube .

Additionally, I am receiving Cisplatin chemotherapy—a potent toxic chemical make up of metal platinum extract , ammonia and chloride ,when injected and administered , this compound burns and compromises the veins.

Because of the physical toll of these treatments, I am currently unable to work. With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to ask for donations to help my family cover our monthly expenses and medical bills during this difficult time. Any support you can provide would mean the world to us.

My goal for the future is to turn this battle into a mission. I plan to become an advocate for cancer awareness and host an annual event starting in 2027 to celebrate remission and support others. Everyone who contributes now will be the first to receive an invitation to join me in that celebration.
