Like many other mountain families, Jo and Bryce Stringham lost their home and all of their worldly possessions in the Creek Fire. Their children , Dustin Wolfe , Amy and Lisa Stringham lost their childhood home. Jo grew up in Shaver went to Big Creek Elementary and attended Sierra High. Jo's dad owned Shaver Lake Garage on Dorabella and 168 and the Richfield on Dinkey and 168 in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.  Bryce moved to Shaver in the late 70s and worked at China Peak for years. He bought their home on Peterson in the early 80s. The Stringham’s put blood, sweat and tears into their home to make it their own. They have been on Peterson road ever since. They raised their family there and were part of the mountain community. Jo and Bryce are safe and managed to evacuate with their pets. However they have lost everything. The Stringham family is devastated from losing their home. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
