The cruel hammer of crisis capitalism tries to attack, but we shall not be moved!

My name is Paisley. I'm community organizer with the San Fernando Valley Homeless Union & Aetna Street Solidarity, and the creator of R.V. T.V. --an independent media program produced out of my RV-home.

Early on Christmas morning, while traveling away from the Los Angeles storms, our RV suffered a detrimental mechanical failure and lost power on the freeway. We moved to the shoulder and were sideswiped by a semi-truck, but fortunately all were able to walk away alive and physically well. However, upon inspection it was found that I blew the head gasket with mechanical repairs estimated at $5k. This immense cost coupled with the emotional trauma led to the difficult decision to say goodbye to our home, Aly the RV, and reinvest into a newer, more reliable home-on-wheels.

While we are blessed with family to stay with in the meantime and are working to sell and save what we can to invest in another rig, we can use any and all support towards this goal. A new RV-home will allow us the physical, mental, and spiritual health needed to continue building with poor and houseless communities in the San Fernando Valley through weekly community nights, monthly free markets, and the street media produced through R.V. T.V. as we work to expand our programming to include a regular community newsroom and bringing Homefulness (a permanent, rent-free solution to homelessness) to Los Angeles.

We are searching for a slightly newer (90s or above) model with less miles (<100k) and the potential to upsize to a Class-A. If you know anyone willing to sell at a reasonable price or donate, please reach out. All funds will be used towards purchasing an RV, investing its mechanical soundness, and any remainder will go towards our vehicles used for (and worn down by) mutual aid work.
