Michelle Feldman: Premier bowler, benefit queen.
As the former #1 female bowler in the country, Michelle knew what it meant to be fierce, to be perfect, to work hard and be a winner.
After her professional bowling days ended, Michelle settled in her hometown of Auburn, NY and began her charity work within the community as the owner of Falcon Lanes and Tidal Wave Banquet Hall. Michelle has NEVER rented her hall out for benefits, she freely gives the bar/kitchen/main hall to whoever needs it for medical benefits. Michelle has hosted hundreds of benefits. But now....its her turn.
Michelle recently suffered a MAJOR STROKE. Though lucky enough not to have physical paralysis, Michelle has major sensory and ocular issues that are devastating. Like many small business owners, she could not afford health insurance and is now struggling to make ends meet at home, let alone her business. Michelle will not be going back to work for the foreseeable future, but her future does include major therapies and doctors appointments.
The Music United Foundation of Cayuga County, a NYS 501c3 non-profit organization has always made the Tidal Wave Banquet Hall our home for medical benefits for area musicians in need. We have set up this Go Fund Me page for Michelle to help her with living and ancillary expenses related to her stroke and treatment. We know she has made friends and fans around the country during her bowling years and this GFM page gives everyone who knows and loves Michelle a chance to help.
