My name is Darren and my wife Buffy and I, along with our radio station Treehouse Radio and it’s loyal band of listeners are raising funds for BBS Ten Pin.
BBS ( British Blind Sports) hold a wide range of sporting events, try out sessions and competitions for blind and sight impaired people across the UK.
One of the activities that Buffy and I have taken part in is a Ten Pin bowling league which, until recently had a very generous sponsor.
So, to enable BBS Ten Pin to continue holding it’s leagues and contests, we’re asking for donations.
On Saturday, 18 June, we’ll be holding a 12 hour DJ Marathon on Treehouse Radio starting at 12 noon UK.
Buffy will be presenting the first 6 hours and I will do the second half of the event.
Ten Pin bowling is a sport that anyone can take part in, regardless of ability. In fact, in 2019, we took part in our first competition and came third.
Without your help it will become extremely difficult to continue to hold our twice yearly leagues and contests, so please give whatever you can so that blind people around the UK can continue enjoying the rush of league bowling!
