Stride for Trybe: 5K to empower young black men through arts

Hi there! My name is Ally, and I'm running The Hyde Park 5k on September 28th 2024 to raise much-needed funds for Trybe House Theatre - a non-profit organization that is making a real difference in the lives of young Black men.

Trybe House Theatre was founded in 2020 with the mission of using theater as a supportive outlet to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for young Black men aged 18-25. Since then, they've worked with up to 40 incredible young men, providing them with a creative, nurturing, and empowering environment to explore their talents and address the unique challenges they face.

Currently THT rely on the generosity of their guest speakers and staff who all offer their time on a voluntary basis. The funds raised will help sustain their programming, support emerging writers, cover participant expenses, and potentially allow them to offer paid workshops led by expert facilitators. You can view their amazing work HERE

I am honoured to be running this 5k to support THT’s vital work. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real impact to the company and their ability to make the work that means the most to them. Together, we can uplift the next generation of Black leaders, artists, and storytellers. Thank you in advance for your generosity - it means the world to me and the crew at Trybe House Theatre !!
