Strichen JAC Chicken Run – 4th July!

On the 4th of July, members of Strichen JAC will be dressing up as chickens and taking on a charity bike ride through the local area!

Route: Fraserburgh → Strichen → Maud → Mintlaw → Longside

Along the way, we’ll be stopping at local shops and pubs with our fundraising buckets, hoping to collect donations and raise awareness for a fantastic cause.

This year, we’ve chosen Friends of ANCHOR as our charity. This cause is particularly close to many of our members, who have seen friends, family, and loved ones affected by cancer and want to make a positive difference. ❤️⚓️

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be hugely appreciated and will help support the incredible work that Friends of ANCHOR does across the North East of Scotland.

⚓️ Friends of ANCHOR works alongside the NHS to ensure cancer and haematology patients have access to the highest quality care, support, and treatment throughout their diagnosis and beyond.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and fundraisers, the charity can provide its wellbeing services free of charge, both within hospital settings and at home. Donations also help fund vital research, specialist equipment, advances in cancer treatment, and earlier cancer diagnosis.
