Stress induced severe depression

My name is David Sturgeon, and I am 60 years old.

The past few months have been hard for us because life has been throwing us a lot of challenges. My partner is bravely fighting bladder cancer, and I've been dealing with terrible lower back pain from surgery I had a few years ago. On this trip, there has been pain, uncertainty, and stress over money.

The weight on our shoulders isn't just physical and mental. We are currently stuck in a circle of pain that threatens to swallow us whole, as we are shackled by an overwhelming debt of $80,000. The complicated health care system is getting in the way of our simple dream of getting married and starting our life together. If we do that, my fiancée could lose her insurance that is paid for by the government, which would put us in a tough spot.

The harsh truth is that I can't pay for the health insurance I need so badly to deal with my severe pain. Every day is a fight, not only against the pain in our bodies but also against the crushing debt that hangs over our heads. It feels like we're locked up in a system that is often a terrible joke.
