Thousands of Californians in counties like Humboldt and Trinity lack consistent access to psychiatric care. We’re raising funds to launch telepsychiatry services in these regions through a model that works with insurance and strengthens local clinics, not replaces them.
Mental health care shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code.
Yet in many rural parts of California, patients go months without access to psychiatric providers. Clinics are overwhelmed, and local professionals are stretched thin. The result? Untreated depression, rising substance use, and avoidable hospitalizations.
We’re Segal Telepsychiatry Network, a small, mission-driven group of psychiatric nurse practitioners who partner with clinics across California to provide insurance-based psychiatric care—remotely, reliably, and affordably.
This fundraiser will help us:
- Launch psychiatric services in Humboldt and Trinity counties.
- Onboard nurse practitioners with California licenses.
- Build telepsychiatry workflows customized for each clinic.
- Cover setup costs until insurance reimbursements are established.
How Donations Will Be Used:
$50 - One psychiatric follow-up visit for a patient in need
$250 - Tech and clinical setup for one clinic
$1,000 - Covers one month of part-time provider time for a clinic
$5,000 - Funds full launch in a new clinic, including licensing and staffing
$10,000 - Expands services to two counties, serving 100+ patients monthly
You can be the reason a patient in a rural town finally receives the care they’ve been waiting for.
Help us bridge the psychiatric care gap—one clinic at a time.
