Strength in Unity: Support Wilson to Fight Cancer

Dear Family, Friends, and Generous Supporters,

We are Chris and Tracy Callihan, and we are reaching out to you today on behalf of our dear friend Bill Haugh, affectionately known to many as Wilson or Chef Wilson.

 Wilson has been a cherished part of our lives for over 30 years and now more than ever he needs our help and support. Last February, Wilson received devastating news. He was diagnosed with aggressive stage four prostate cancer. By the time the diagnosis came, the cancer had already spread to his lymph nodes, ruling out the possibility of surgery. Despite the grim prognosis, Wilson has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout his battle. Currently Wilson is enrolled in a research trial at the Seidman Cancer Center, where he is undergoing treatment for his cancer. While the cancer may not be curable, the treatment he's receiving including chemo and radiation, offers hope in slowing its progression beyond his prostate. However, these treatments have taken a toll on his health, leaving him unable to continue his career as a chef due to radiation related damage and difficulty standing for long hours.

 In light of these challenges, Wilson has made the courageous decision to pursue a new path by returning to college with hopes of obtaining a degree as a paralegal. This transition not only reflects his determination to overcome adversity but also underscores his commitment to building a brighter future despite the obstacles he faces. 

Throughout the past year, Wilson has been unable to work, placing a significant strain on his finances. As his friends who have witnessed his unwavering positivity and strength,, we are asking for your support . Your generous donation will alleviate the financial burden Wilson is facing and help him focus on his health, education and eventually return to the workforce.

 Wilson is deeply grateful for the love and support he has received from his friends and family during this challenging journey.
