Strength in Unity: Felipe's Fight Against Cancer

This donation campaign aims to raise funds for Felipe Loera’s family. Donations will aid in helping provide medical and financial expenses for his battle against cancer. 

Felipe is a United States Air Force veteran who enlisted in the service at just 18 years old. Following an honorable discharge at the end of his service, Felipe began his apprenticeship with IBEW Local 11 and became an Inside Journeyman Wireman for which he has been a member for over 27 years. 

In his professional life, Felipe dedicated himself to service in both military and civilian roles. Early in his electrical career, he spent five years working in Afghanistan, where he served as a Supervisor at Kandahar Base helping support critical civilian operations. Over the years, Felipe has held numerous leadership positions, including General Foreman and Foreman. Beyond the job site, he has also given back to his trade and community through volunteer work with Local 11 and by sharing his knowledge as an Instructor and Senior Instructor for the ETI.

Felipe and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 28 years. Since his diagnosis, she has been by his side every step of the way fighting day and night against the disease. Together, they raised two loving and deeply supportive children, Paola and Julian, who have been a constant source of strength during this difficult time.
