Over the years, Kay McKinney has been an MS warrior. She takes on each flare up and subsequent rehab with grace, positivity, and an unbelievable strength. But as her health challenges become more and more frequent, so does the stress (not to mention the medical bills). 

Kay is back in the hospital for the second time this month, with autoimmune encephalitis (AE). AE is a serious condition where the immune system attacks the brain and causes a variety of cognitive symptoms. As a family, the McKinneys are facing a long recovery ahead.
