Carolina, Viviana Acevedo’s life changed forever.

After a thorough medical evaluation, the team led by Dr. Y. Everett Warren Jr., MAT,

Breast Surgical Oncologist, confirmed the diagnosis: right breast cancer.

From that moment, Viviana began a journey she did not choose—but one she is walking

with extraordinary strength. On August 8th, 2025, she underwent a mastectomy, a major

surgical procedure involving the full removal of the affected breast to eliminate the tumor

and preserve her life. As per her physician’s orders, she must remain out of work for at

least 4 weeks, following a strict recovery plan with specialized oncological care.
