To all Susie's Family, Friends and Supporters ,
On May 15th, during the tornado that touched down in Southbury, our beloved Susie was tragically struck by a tree that had fallen on their lake property.
Susie sustained life threatening injuries which had her in the Danbury ICU for 9 days and then transferred to Yale New Haven Hospital, where she will continue to receive treatment.
From this accident, Susie's injuries include: a broken collar bone, a broken scapula, 10 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a fractured skull and 5 fractured vertebrae with a few complications along the way.
From these injuries, Susie has and will undergo multiple surgeries to begin her road to recovery.
Susie will continue to fight through!
