I am setting this Gofundme up on behalf of my dad, Ron.

In September my dad was in an automobile accident that resulted in him being paralyzed from the chest down. In the last few months he's been working hard on his road towards recovery. He has even regained a majority of movement in his arms and hands and is hopeful to regain movement in his legs.

Unfortunately, due to gaps of services provided by his insurance, he has been unable to maintain his daily physical therapy in the same capacity. His insurance has thankfully covered most expenses that we were worried about with the initial care he received, but now we are needing support to get him the rehabilitation he needs. He is also needing some smaller dental procedures that will help his overall health.

Looking forward, we are hoping to make sure he is taken care of enough so he can focus all of his energy on healing. Prior to this, he lived in the vehicle involved in the accident. He is now displaced, and needs to find a residence that supports his new mobility needs. He also hopes to one day get his dog back, who he has been unable to care for since the accident.

My dad is currently in good spirits. He is very grateful to be doing as good as he is and is leaning on his faith to push him through. His faith in a plan that is bigger than his understanding is a huge factor contributing to his daily growth, both physically and spiritually. We are asking for your support during this time so that our family can be relived of some of the stress and financial burden that comes with our situation.
