Lucas Rust has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma, with cancer present in his pelvis and lower spinal canal. In December, he underwent surgery to remove a tumor at the base of his spine. While that procedure was successful, the remaining mass in his pelvis is larger and more complex, making it inoperable.

Since then, Lucas has completed 16 rounds of radiation and has now begun chemotherapy in the hope of shrinking the tumor and preventing further spread. He is starting his second round of chemo this week and will continue treatment over the next six months.

As you can imagine, this has taken a significant toll on his body. The treatments have left him extremely fatigued and unable to work, creating real financial strain during an already overwhelming time.
