Our family is navigating a very difficult chapter, and we are reaching out to our community for support.

Over the past several years, Herb has endured multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and ongoing medical treatments in the fight against cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Each step has required strength, resilience, and determination as our family has worked closely with doctors to pursue every possible option for treatment.

Recently, his condition changed significantly, and after careful evaluation with his medical team, we are now preparing for another surgery in hopes of improving his condition and quality of life.

Anyone who has faced cancer knows that the journey involves far more than medical appointments. The process brings ongoing travel, medications, procedures, recovery time and the constant challenge of balancing work, caregiving, and daily responsibilities.

Like many families facing a long-term illness, we have done everything possible to manage these challenges on our own (since 2022). However, the cumulative impact of multiple surgeries, treatments, and time away from work has created significant financial strain.
