This fundraiser comes from a place of love and care for my mom as she prepares for open-heart surgery and the recovery that will follow.

Hi everyone,

My name is Dakota, and I am writing this for my mom, Tee Syouthoum.

My mom is facing major open-heart surgery to repair a serious blockage in one of the main arteries of her heart. We are grateful this was found and that she is receiving the care she needs. The focus now is on helping her through surgery and the healing process afterward.

After surgery, doctors expect my mom to need 3 to 6 months of recovery. During this time, she will not be able to work and will need to focus on rest, rehabilitation, and regaining her strength. Like many families, this unexpected medical situation brings emotional weight along with financial stress.

My mom has always been someone who takes care of others. This fundraiser is meant to give her the space and support to focus on healing without worrying about day-to-day expenses while she recovers.
