My family has been facing an incredibly difficult time over the past few weeks. On Christmas Eve, my dad suffered a heart attack. During the procedures to repair his heart, he developed complications that led to compartment syndrome in his arm, requiring additional treatment and care. He is still hospitalized, and his recovery will take time.

At the same time, my uncle was recovering from three mini strokes and was hospitalized separately. Having two close family members in different hospitals at once has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for our family.
