Supporting Nana on Her Healing Journey

My Nana is someone everyone simply knows as Nana— she's warm, witty, and just the right amount of sassy. She spent her life as a nurse dedicated to helping others, and right now she is in need of support and a community of prayer warriors. Nana experienced a catastrophic fall on ice that now requires surgery to repair a fractured tibia, fibula and to reattach all ligaments in her leg. As you can imagine this will be a long, careful road to recovery and a journey to begin walking again with such an extensive leg injury.

In true Nana fashion, she’s meeting each challenge with quiet strength and that gentle sass that makes her who she is. She has absolutely no idea I’m doing this—and she’d probably kick my butt if she did—but we want to surround her with as much support as possible while she focuses on healing as she has already begun to fear the financial impact of this injury.

We’re raising funds to help cover her hospital stay, surgery costs, rehabilitation and the medications she’ll need along the way. Any dollar truly helps and will ease the burden while Nana works toward getting back on her feet.
