On November 14, Emily was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She met with doctors and developed a plan to minimize the cancer; however, chemotherapy was delayed after her PET scan when more spots were identified. On December 23rd, the doctor confirmed another cancerous tumor on her lymph node in front of her heart.

Emily began the most intensive chemotherapy treatment on December 29th in hopes of going after the lymph nodes first. She has a long treatment ahead before undergoing reconstructive surgery and radiation.

Though VA healthcare is incredible, it will not cover the entirety of Emily’s treatment plan. We are asking for donations to support Emily’s medical treatments if you have the means. However, sharing this and sending Emily prayers and strength will mean just as much.
