A Festival to Support Homes for Teens

Dear family, friends, and those whom I hope to have the pleasure to meet, I have reached a critical point in my life where I have made the decision to leave my 15 years of performing duties as an architectural designer and pursue into a new career as a music festival promoter. About 4 years ago I began strongly asking myself this simple question, "Why am I here on this earth?" A simple question yet, mysteriously hard to answer. Through the course of those years the answer to the question began to reveal itself as if God was whispering to my ear bits and pieces of information I needed to know.

In my current career, I have realized my gifts as a visionary and creator, and the passion to help people were not being used to its full potential and for its true purpose. I feel in becoming a music festival promoter I can use my gifts to create memorable and joyful experiences for all who attend my festival. Equally important, I will be able to generate enough revenue to donate proceeds to non-profit organizations. The answers made sense to me with the gifts I have, the passion to reach out to people in need, and to mention my love for art and music that creating festivals would be fitting.

In the last 4 months I made significant moves showing my true commitment to my new endeavor. As owner and founder, I formed my very own Limited Liability Company (LLC) and named it Uphoria Events, a company that promotes events and festivals. I've prepared my business plan for a bank loan and secured a domain name for my up incoming festival website, which leads me to say I am planning my first festival called Streetscape, an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) +Art Festival scheduled to launch October 4th, 2014 in downtown Sacramento, CA. Its mission is to celebrate your life through music and art. We will treat you to world-class DJs, and amaze you with a party on the streets transformed into a spectacle wonderland of art; because you deserve it! Proceeds will go toward Koinonia-Homes For Teens a service that provides the needs of teens with behavioral issues in a structured and treatment focused setting, visit http://teens.kfh.org for more info.

I am asking for your help in the form of donations to help me put into practice my True gifts and passion to good use. As a one-time request I need your support to raise $75,000.00 as a down payment for a bank loan in the amount of $200,000.00. The loan will be used as my working capital to pay for stage, sound, temporary fencing, tents, live entertainment, DJs, security, police officers, etc. I have till the end of February 2014 to reach my goal.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your pledge and generosity. If you like to know more information or have questions about Streetscape, please email [email redacted].
