There’s a little group of cats in my neighborhood I’ve come to call the Street Squad Colony. They didn’t ask to be out here, but this is the life they’ve been handed. Among them are Whimsy, Phoenix, Miss May, Muffin, and Winter. I’m trying to focus on just a few at a time. Several of the kittens from my post earlier this summer are no longer with us.
Not long ago, we lost another kitten and a momma cat. She left behind a kitten, who is still trying to grow up out here. I want to stop burying cats and try to help them.
Here’s the plan..
1. Get every cat spayed or neutered so no more kittens are born into this struggle.
2. Give the friendlier cats a chance at a rescue or adoption.
3. Return the truly feral ones back home where they’ll have daily food, shelter, and protection.
I don’t want to see more of them suffer or end up like the ones we’ve already lost. With some help, we can make sure the Street Squad has a chance at safer, healthier lives. They all need a little TLC. ❤️
