Street animals in the UAE need your help

My name is Hind, and for over a decade, I've dedicated myself to rescuing street animals in the UAE. We, as rescuers, are individuals who are volunteering time and effort to help this animals, with limited resources and lack of government support or TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs.

We've faced immense challenges, especially with the alarming trend of pets being abandoned by expatriates upon leaving the country.

In a recent series of urgent cases, I rescued 35 cats and 14 dogs. These animals were victims of neglect and abandonment, left in dire conditions by their owners. Many were suffering from severe health issues, including Parvo, fungal infections, blood parasites, jaundice, liver and kidney diseases, eye infections and respiratory illnesses. Some were pregnant and others had severely matted fur. Sadly, 10 cats died already. The rescued dogs also required urgent medical attention and the necessity of spaying and neutering.

Currently, all these animals are receiving critical medical care, including surgeries, vaccinations and tests. We're committed to ensuring their recovery and finding them loving homes once they will be healthy again.

Unfortunately, this rescues have led to a substantial financial burden. The veterinary bills have accumulated to 150,000 dirhams (round about 38,000 Euro) resulting in my account being blocked and further treatments are on hold until the bill is reduced.

I find myself in a difficult position, having stretched my capabilities to save these animals because there was no one else to save them.
