Help Stray to Play's rescue dogs!
Donation protected
UPDATE: June 24th, 2020: Due to Covid and border closures unfortunately our Turkeys have not be able to fly to YYZ, at the moment anticipating a Sept arrival for our Turkey pups. With this, S2P has been actively pulling dogs from shelters in Ontario. Currently we have 8 dogs in our care.
All dogs are "living the good life" in their foster homes, you can see their updates on our instagram @stray2play.
We are still in need of funds to support the current pups in our care, all pups are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and providing training should they need it to overcome behavioural issues.
Thank you!!

Stray to Play is a registered non for profit rescue based out of Toronto, Canada. We launched on May 18th, 2020 with our goal of rescuing stray, abused and abandoned animals from all over the globe and placing them in foster homes prior to being adopted out to their forever families.
Our first 10 dogs have been selected from our partner shelter in Turkey and are currently being vetted and prepped for their freedom flight to Toronto! Dogs will be arriving with volunteer flight angels (thank you ANGELS) from the end of June throughout July.
We are a small team with bleeding hearts and a big goal- to try to pull as many dogs off the streets as we can. Many have asked "Why not look closer to home as the process is smoother and less costly?" Truth is, we have an amazing contact in Turkey who has been working so hard to try to protect these babies on their own. After seeing the photos and videos of dogs malnourished, abused, and still fighting for their lives- we cried, we asked ourselves how some people can be so heartless and we realized we just couldn't say no to her.
So- here we are today, desperately trying to raise enough funds to ensure that our dogs not only make their Freedom Flight home, but that upon arrival we have sufficient funds to ensure that they are properly checked up and vetted for any necessary health concerns.
A breakdown of costs per dog below:
- Cargo flight pass: $450CAD
- Airline approved crate: $125CAD
- Agricultural documents & vetting certificates: $100CAD
- Spay/Neuter & rabies vaccine to be done in Turkey: $150CAD
- Check up/SNAP/Heartworm treatment upon arrival in Toronto: 150CAD
As you can see from above we are averaging $975CAD per dog and these are just the basic costs not including food, harness, training, and other misc vetting the dogs may need. Nor do the prices above reflect tax.
Our goal is and remains the same- to rescue as many dogs as we can. We know it won't be easy, so we are here to ask for your support of a monetary donation to help us save lives. No amount is too small.
I thank you for reading and hope that you can visit our site www.straytoplay.org for more information. Please help us spread the word.
Be well- be amazing!
