Urgent: Help Us Save Forgotten Strays!
Donation protected
#MakeADifference - EVERY pound / euro / dollar helps
Thousands of strays each year are abandoned, left to live a life of suffering, struggling to survive, scavenging for food on the streets, regularly subjected to inhumane killing, barbaric capture and torture. Many die through disease, malnutrition and even purposeful poisoning.
In October / November 2024 I will be visiting several rescue shelters, meeting up with dedicated volunteers and spending lots of time with the strays in different areas. I will be purchasing parasitic treatment for worms, ticks and fleas and taking it with me, alongside other veterinary supplies.
We will also be taking animals requiring veterinary care to the vets and getting them treatment.
We need:
Parasitic treatment (for cats & dogs - kitten & puppy size upwards) - for worms, fleas & ticks (depending on size of the animal - cost approx £30 each). Last visit we must have seen 2-300 strays in a short period of time, many were pregnant or already had litters.
Treats - many strays are scared due to the treatment they get and lack trust, high value treats is a good way to earn their trust.
Veterinary supplies - basic treatments we will take with us, although if an animal needs to see a vet we will also ensure this is done - we won't let an animal suffer. Last visit a dog with extensive fur loss, bleeding wounds, struggling to walk was taking to the vets and is recovering well.
Shelters are approx £100 each - this will be a bonus - if we get get the animals some basic veterinary care, improve their welfare and quality of life then that is a start for now.
All this is not possible without financial backing, I appreciate that money is tight for everyone at the moment - but the animals need your help - if you can’t offer financial help, would you mind sharing on your social media platforms on your social media. We need to build up our social media following, the more supporters the better the chance we have to raise awareness and funds.
ALL FUNDS go towards improving the welfare for the animals
EVERY trip I take is TOTALLY SELF-FUNDED
The trip will be documented with videos, photos and 'lives' on social media - following our journey and see where your donations are going.
