Stray cats and kittens in Alykanas ( Greece )

Hi , my name is Nicky and I’m a huge cat lover ‍⬛.

I’ve recently returned from a holiday in Zante , a lovely little resort called Alykanas . Whilst on holiday I took over feeding a colony of Stray Cats from another couple of holiday makers . The colony was made up of varying ages of cats and kittens ( all incredibly friendly ).

I was originally wanting to try and raise some funds to buy enough cat food to feed these gorgeous cats over the winter months. Unfortunately now the resort has closed for the season there are no tourists to feed them . However … there are some very lovely locals that will feed them if the food is provided . Thankfully a very generous tourist has donated the food for the winter months … which is amazing !!!

I really wanted to try and raise some money to get the cats neutered and spayed . I know things are tight with everyone at the moment but if anyone can manage a few pounds , it would be truly amazing

The cost out in Zante for neutering male cats it's €30 + €10 for after care tablets, females it's €50 + 10 for aftercare tablets.

A local lady who already helps with the stray cats in the resort is happy to feed and organise the neutering …. All we need know is the funds to help make this happen .
